My photography is lifestyle: simple, natural and candid. It captures the beauty of the everyday, the authenticity and connections between those we love in our home or the places we regularly visit.
I have the ability to capture real emotions and real moments and specialize in family photography. I live in Lucerne City and do mainly sessions for the central part of Switzerland but I am flexible and I love to travel with the train so do not hesitate to contact me if you are interested in working together with me.
I would love to help your dearest memories transcend in the most raw and natural way possible.
About Me:
-I was born and raised in Honduras (Central America) but in my heart I always felt I was going live abroad at some point.
-I have been living in Switzerland since 2008. This is the second time I’ve lived in Switzerland: the first time was for an exchange year in Willisau in 2000.
-I am a proud mother of the two most beautiful and favorite little persons I could ever wish to have in my life. My daughter Lara and my son Diego.
-Before I became a photographer, I worked in various projects related to International Cooperation for Development and Integration and I accomplished one of the biggest dreams I had which was to earn a Masters in Development Studies (specialization in International Cooperation and Human Development) at the IHEID in Geneva.
- Photography makes me feel alive and happy, it makes me feel more conscious about emotions and connections among people and it helps me to deeply understand the beauty in our hearts and minds. It is a passion, a joy, a challenge, an art, a hope. It is a way to remind me how precious and thankful I should be every day of my life.
-A big part of my heart was always in the world of arts and creativity and I I enjoy multi-tasking! At school and high school I used to sing in the choir, dance ballet, play the guitar and piano and bake.
-I am obsessed with watercolor illustrations and calligraphy. I like to design unique wall arts for kids. I also love to paint mugs.
-My absolute favorite food is the spare ribs from Mekon Restaurant in Lucerne! I dream about the next time I can go there to have them again!
-My dream country to visit is Thailand, mainly for the food and the beach, but I also enjoy going back to Honduras, to visit my family and friends and rediscover the beauties of my country including the delicious food, the nature, the beaches and the rich culture and human kindness.
-Photography, cooking and baking, going out with the kids, meeting friends, watching movies, travel and as well having quiet times at home or walking around the city alone are the things I really enjoy to do.
-I love to see and capture emotions and connections among people. I photograph with my heart and love to help to document all those life lasting moments of the families.
